Good afternoon parents, Tomorrow is our first day of school! Doors will open at 7:55. Parents may walk children to their class Thursday, Friday and Monday. If you do not know your homeroom teacher or haven't completed registration, you will need to go to the cafeteria, get a number and wait to be called. You can bring documents that are needed. We can't wait to see your smiling faces.

Hello Parents!
A few reminders as we begin the 2025-2026 school year, please send in any health forms/care plans related to your child’s medical conditions (i.e., diabetes, asthma, severe allergies, etc.). These forms can be found on the DCS website under “Required Medical Forms” (See QR Code). Please keep in mind that these forms are to be submitted new every year; they do not carry over from one year to the next. If your child requires medication while at school, all medication forms and permissions must be signed and renewed annually as well. All medications must be brought to the school by a parent or guardian and signed in at the front office. Any non-prescription or over-the-counter medication requires a Medication Authorization completed by the child’s physician before it can be given at the school. This form is also found on the DCS website under the “Required Medical Forms” tab (See QR Code).
Meet the Teacher will be on July 29th from 4-6 pm. This is a great time to start turning in care plans, doctor orders, and medications. I will be available during this time to sign in medications and accept care plans. I look forward to seeing you all!

Our school experienced a power outage earlier today due to a blown transformer. We are working closely with local authorities to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, we have made arrangements to ensure that students will receive lunch and are doing everything we can to keep the school day running as normally as possible. Our staff is prepared to adjust and continue providing your children with a safe, supportive learning environment.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
