I received my bachelor degree from the University of Mississippi. I am certified to teach elementary education K-6 as well as Math and Science grades 6-12.
Experience
This is my 13th year in education. I taught 6th grade in another district, was a substitute teacher for DCS, and taught Kindergarten for 8 years then moved to the interventionist at Greenbrook Elementary.. I came to LES in 2021 to be the librarian and moved to the interventionist/state test coordinator position in the middle of last year. This will be my 3rd year at Lewisburg Elementary.

My name is Sonya Sullivan. My husband and I have 3 grown children, 1 daughter in love, 1 son in love, and 4 of the most precious grand daughters ever. My oldest 2 are married and have blessed me with my grands. My youngest is a junior at Ole Miss. All 3 of them graduated from LHS so I have been a Patriot at heart for many years.
