Class News

Homework:  Students will receive Math homework most every Monday through Thursday. Homework will consist for additional practice of what was covered in class that day or review at the end of chapters. On average students will be assigned five to ten problems to ensure working independently. All homework will be reviewed at the beginning of class. Students do not receive a grade on homework. Students are responsible for writing all assignments in their agendas. The consequence for failing to return completed homework is to walk during recess.

Graded Papers: Graded papers folders will be sent home every other Wednesday. Review your child's work with them, sign the included report, and return the folder by Monday. You may keep the papers at home.

Meal Pay: I encourage you to pay for lunch and/or breakfast monthly or at least weekly. This will cut down on paper work and allow us to start our instructional time sooner. You may send cash or a check (phone number included) to school with your child or pay online with MealPay. You will find a link on our school's homepage. Please note new lunch and breakfast prices.

Absences: Attendance is extremely important for your child's success. Please limit absences to illness and doctor's appointments. When returning, use the school's absence form which can be printed directly from the link on the left of this page. You can also find a copy in your child's agenda.
