Education

I graduted in 1994 from University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Commercial Interior Design.  I worked in the design field for a few years until I met my husband who was in the Air Force.  After we married, we moved to several states for my husband's career.  I took some time off from working to become a full time stay at home mother with our 3 children.  After my youngest was in pre-school, I went back to school to earn my teaching certification, then my Master's of Education from University of Phoenix.

Experience

I taught Pre-K at a private christian school in O'Fallon, Illinois for three years.  Our family moved to Oklahoma where I taught 2nd grade for two years.  My husband retired from the Air Force and we moved to Olive Branch, where I became a SPED assistant at LES in 2014.  The next school year I became a 4th grade ELA teacher.  This will be my 5th year to teach 4th grade ELA.

Bio

I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in D'Iberville.  I met and married my husband in 1995.  He was in the Air Force so we began our military life of living all over the country.  We have lived in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Illinois, Colorado, and Oklahoma.  After a 21 year career, my husband retired from the military and works for FedEx now.   We have three children. Our oldest, Matthew, is a senior at Mississippi State University, our middle daughter is a sophomore at Mississippi college, and our youngest daughter is a sophomore at Lewisburg High.
