I attended Baylor University for two years and then transferred back to my hometown and attended The University of Memphis.  I graduated with a degree in Human Resources Management.  I later attended Belhaven University and took the alternate route to receive my teaching license in Elementary Education.

I began my teaching career as an assistant in 2nd grade here at Lewisburg Elementary.  I loved being an assistant but after three years in that position, I decided to further my education in order to have my own classroom.  I took a position in the office here while I worked on my education.  Thankfully, the following year a teaching position became available in 4th grade, and this is now my eighth year to be teaching 4th grade at Lewisburg Elementary School.  I absolutely love it!

I grew up in Memphis and moved to Olive Branch after I married my husband, Brad.  Brad and I have been married for 21 years and have two wonderful children.  My son's name is Tal, and he is 19 years old and will be attending Northwest Community College this fall.  My daughter's name is Maddie, and she is 16 years old and is a junior at Lewisburg High School.  Softball is her passion. She plays for Lewisburg and competitively for the Blue Angels.  We have one dog, Khloe.  She is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer and thinks she is one of my kids.  I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, relaxing with a good book, laughing with my friends, and teaching 4th graders.  I am very blessed.
